Just completed an Inbay E82 Qi charger install on my 2009 135i. It had the smoker's package, so OUT the entire center console went. Also had my trim pieces vinyl wrapped since I never want to go through that again. Aside from using some adhesive cable clips to keep the route tidy, the install was about as easy as having to yank the entire center console out with both iDrive and a wired-in snap-in adapter would be. Very pleased with it.

My phone is an iPhone XS with Apple Smart Battery Case, but a friend's Galaxy S8+ with case fits in snugly and charges as well.
