This is great news. This issue drove me crazy when I first bought this car. I tried several times to get the dealer to fix it with no real luck. I followed some of the similar threads in the past and had the DME updated to the latest back in June. It solved the car stalling issue, but the throttle response issue never went away (most noticeable with AC on and decelerating to a stop then trying to go again). Basically noting would happen for 1.5 seconds and then the car would surge forward.
I don't want to get too excited over this since I was told the last update would fix it too, but I have my fingers crossed.
Thanks a lot to e36addict for letting us know about the SI B 12 15 14, hopefully my dealer will admit to having the update.
