You guys who are having the lurching issue should try resetting the engine adaptations, not just the transmission.
The fix in the BMW bulletin for this issue is to update the DME software and reset the ENGINE adaptations, as this is more of an idle fluctuation problem then a transmission problem (hence why raising the idle seems to sometimes fix it).
