People will just import chevys and fords. They have already been putting Chevy badges on Holdens for a while now.
The price is not the biggest problem here, there used to be a big mod/rice scene in Sydney with people always driving around on weekends but police cracked down on it and its just disappeared now, for the 1st 3 years of your license you cant drive a car faster than around 0-100 6.6seconds and you cant drive a V8 or turbo(but they are lifting the turbo restriction now).
Everything is more expensive here but I am told we get payed more than you guys in the US so
