I was annoyed this morning to come in and find gym chalk over everything in the squat/dead-lift racks.
I understand it's all part of the gear and has its place, but I have seen guys using chalk that can barely dead-lift 225.
If your grip is that weak or slippery at that weight, buy some gloves or lower the weight and start working on some grip strength exercises.
I have never used chalks or gloves. Now I do use straps, but that is only when I get into the 365+ range.
