I find it highly unlikely, because as a rule, nexen tires are garbage. Dude, I mount and balance tires out of my garage. I see every new tire that comes out. I have mounted these for three people so far. One likes them, two do not. I mount tires for autocrossers, TT'ers, Road racers, and endurance racers. I get the skinny on how how they all feel about their tires, and they try them ALL.
This is nexen's first (second actually) stab at the 200tw market. Sounds like they put a lot of work into it. The feedback I have gotten so far is they are great for autocross, suck on the track. Take it for what it is worth.
Also, historically, nexen (All season and summer tires) fall apart regularly. Belts break and the tires get lumpy and get weird wear patterns. Just saying.
