First Stelvio pre-run day (leaving from Belgium)
- Wittlich
- The Black Forest (lots of winding roads)
- hotel stay at Göschenen (Switzerland)
Second Stelvio pre-run day (leaving from Göschenen)
- Furka Pass
- Nufenen Pass (Passo della Novena)
- (ancient) St. Gotthard Pass (Passo del San Gottardo) (cobble stones & cows)
- a pass where it suddenly started to fog and rain like hell (Susten? Klausen?)
- Silvretta Pass (the cherry on the cake - toll road, so very calm)
- hotel stay at Stelvio (Italy)
Rudi and Wade might chime in to specify the details and chronology.
Fond memories of this "Three Musketeers" pre-run. We had a blast.
And yes, hills of the Black Forest can cause a 135i with an aggressive tune to go into limp mode for half an hour or so...
