Not going to do this after all. Don't want to lose the sweet popping and crackling sounds of PPK. It's fun every time I drive and you can hear it anytime, you don't have to be going fast to enjoy those sounds. To me, it's very entertaining.
It's the whole reason I started this thread over a year ago. Still haven't heard a video of an N55 135i with the Dinan S2 tune revving the engine, and in engine overrun (decelerating) to confirm what it sounds like. Have heard stage 3 revving, and while the exhaust sounded great (PE), there were no pops and crackles in that video so that was not encouraging. Sorry, friend.
Some have said they would make a video for me, but no one has come through yet with something that sufficiently provides the sounds I need to hear. Not going to pay money just to possibly lose something I love. Doesn't make sense to me. Had a few "fuck it, I'm just going to take a chance" moments, but that has passed and I'm thinking clearly again.
