I think it depends on how "special" the special edition is. The 1M was not a 135i with a few add-ons; that "honor" would fall on the 135is, of which I own a convertible example. Great car, but not a 1M.

Unless I am missing something, the 135is hasn't become a cult car and doesn't have much of a following, both of which are needed for a limited edition car to take off in the resale market.
