I haven't done the math, but Carly would seem cheaper than the ECS option.
I think the right option depends on skill level and how deep you plan to go with coding. I'm (arguably) quite technical, but I find Carly's ease of use far far outweighs any theoretical limitation on what it can do. |
A little off topic, but do you know a lot about coding? I've always been interested, but don't really know what all can be changed on E82 chassis. ...other than door mirrors folding with lock/unluck button on the key. |
I have not made any changes myself so far with Carly, only done diagnostics. The Carly website is quite transparent about what it can do. Have a look.
