I think they send you a cable for your laptop... then you a arrange a time when you have your car coded REMOTELY. ie you plug in the cable... while talking to them over the phone... then when they are done... you unplug the OBDII cable - and you are done. Car now is coded. There is another guy from Poland who does car coding that way too over on the e90 forum.
Of course the best way to find someone local to you.
