VANOS Ghost Codes?
Recently did the 3 Stage IM swap and was checking all my error codes before and after. I noticed that even after clearing codes, i had several codes relating to the VANOS. Anyone else have/had these? Ive read on other forums they need to be replaced, others say for the N52 they just need to be cleaned.
I previously (several months back) had issues with a rough idle (could relate the to VANOS) but ran a fuel system cleaner and it seemed to have fixed it.
