I do agree with you that the N55 M2 is the closest in spirit to the 1M. Personally it's the only M2 i feel carries that spirit. |
Yeah, the most interesting might be the E12 M535i. It had the E24 635CSi's engine, an M designed chassis/suspension, unique body panels, and its assembly started alongside the regular E12s, but then was finished at the M plant. Real M car??
