I just picked up some winter tires For my non-sport 128i. A set of kinda ugly mille miglias, 17" diameter, ET 40's with 225/45R-17 blizzacks.
However, I'm not sure if they are 8 or 8.5 width. Will either 8 or 8.5" width clear? seems like it should based on what I've read here, but willtheyfit.com makes it seem like they will be too far out with the 8.5.
