I been recently shopping all intercoolers. I have a 5"stepped but it has oem fittings and my oem flexi boot keeps slipping off the outlets. 23psi I'm sure has something to do with it. So I was confused at why some intercoolers like ER are so expensive and don't look like much. Is there something special going on with them i dont know about? I was looking for a big ic and narrowed it down to arm, bms and vrsf. Since my inlets and outlets and chargepipes are all vrsf I went with the 7.5 race. But I could have easily done the bms. It looks nice too. The arm I was looking at, I was scared away from because I saw alot of negative reviews for that and their piping upgrade kit. Which is why I was interested in the first place. So far so good with the vrsf but I have not done any logs, or even checked the iat's since I installed it. But I will soon. And I believe most 5" will be a direct fit and all the 7" or 7.5" will need trimming to fit.
