Exactly. Have you ridden BMW's own S1000RR? It's an amazing experience what a well executed trans and electronics package can be. The bike can be had with a factory powershifter which allows clutchless up and downshifts. I've used it on the track and it's simply amazing. This combined with the slipper clutch means butter and money.

Maybe the Motorrad division needs to pay the automotive division a visit.
