Well, I never got a recent clear answer -- I've seen posts saying it looks and works perfectly fine and another that said it looked terribly stretched and people thought they were flat tires in the back.
Either way... I'm also going to be going with Alpin PA4's and the temp is dropping rapidly up here, will update when I get them installed within the month.
Tirerack does list the rim width for these tires and 225's are good from 7.5 - 9, though I don't know if thats a stock answer for all 225's or specific to each tire model.
