Trans mounts are extremely easy. You hold the trans up with a jack, unbolt the mounts, unbolt the crossmember, put in the new mounts, bolt the crossmember back up.


I opted for OEM motor mounts. I figured the added NVH and questionable reliability weren't worth the hassle for a street car. I have Corteco motor mounts and Genuine E46 M3 trans mounts.
Interesting! Did you install the motor mounts yourself? Did you notice an improvement? Where the stock mounts still in good shape? It's the unknown labour cost that worries me!
