I just recently replaced clutch (335is) and new dmfw in my 135. Both clutch and dmfw came out looking virtually brand new (yet was slipping), and the replacement clutch looked the same as the one I removed. In the end it solved my slipping but I can't say I really know why, if had them out again I'd pay more attention to the pressure plate diaphragm, I'm thinking the 335is clutch applies a tad more pressure and that's where the extra torque capacity is. I could sell you my used dmfw.... It still has factory machine markings on it.
