Yes, and your point being?
It is a standard BMW N54 engine with tinkered M software (and some small bits), end result being one hell of a fantastic M car.
BMW exces are always stubborn and want to save money to make more, they doubted they would sell 3,000 E30 M3s at the time and they ended up selling more than they could ever dreamed of.
