Sure, why not? Look at it this way, what are you going to do with the oil otherwise?
Try it out and see if you like the way it shifts. It's not going to hurt the transmission. If you like the way it shifts, you're done. If not, try something else. You're not out any more money and it only takes about 30 minutes to change the oil.
Tonight I'm putting in the 4th oil my gearbox has seen in a month. Just keep at it until you're satisfied.
