This is a cool mod, but I can’t say a faster rack has occurred to me. The rack on my Porsche 996 had around a 17.1:1 ratio, and I think my Cayman was about the same. The 135i rack is a little faster, and I’m not sure I’d call it slow.
Either way, cool idea.
