BMW Perf SSK - N54
Best measurement I could get for you with the BMW SSK.
3rd to 4th throw distance measured from center of silver ring (I kept the //M gear knob and boot) was [7.125 - 5.125] = 2 inches
Seems that's about 50mm or so.
BTW: From my first gear change with it installed it was really, really noticeable.
