JimD I asked some of my BMW friends... they tell me it's not possible to code out the brake pad wear light(s).


IF you have a RED brake pad wear light... you will need new sensor(s). There is one per axle.


When you replace the pad sensor... you "could" just plug it into the car's chassis harness but NOT the brake pad itself. This would do the same thing as coding out the lamp. Just be sure to check your pads for wear over time. You could use a zip to to tidy things up inside the wheel well housing.
