Nope, see my post from 2 days ago in the insurance thread about the hidden costs of being poor. The Focus 2dr gets the same "E, 0%, E" rating (wost possible) from Sate Farm as all other college student econoboxes do. Don't be surprised to find your insurance company working off the same vehicle data from the insurance institute.

My point here is to simply point out the paradox in that the cars you would expect to have low operating costs (such as insurance) in fact have higher costs. Not to make fun of the guys Focus, they are actually pretty fun cars to drive.
