While removal of the stock resonator didn't yield any sound gains it does weigh about 10lbs so I guess I did a minor weight reduction for $65 today.

I believe nobody in this forum has mentioned having done this before. We would be very interested in seeing how it would sound after being debaffled. It's worth a try!
