Hi All - replacing the rear wheel bearings on my 2009 BMW 135i. I have the new bearings installed, but when I go to install the half shafts (axles) they go in OK, and I can thread on the castle nut, but when I tighten it to spec, there is a gap on the inside where the axle meets the bearing.
Anyone else have this issue? I assume the axle is supposed to contact the bearing. Confused!
