Very cool! It's an easy job, but I used black plastic gutter mesh which is flexible and can be stretched over the opening in the diffuser once cut. I tacked down the corners with 3M tape then used a black plastic epoxy resin to secure it. I'll see if I can find an in progress picture for you. If not I'll shoot a picture from the exhaust side of the diffuser with my phone for ya.
