you'll get the hang of the manual VERY quickly! Just make sure you drive a lot....find some nice quiet areas where you can just drive around in for a while......try some different things too.
I learned just like you....i bought a car and forced myself to learn.....in traffic!!! haha......it was crazy but now when i remember those times, a lot of fun
