From what I've read on babybimmer was that there was slight modification on the steering rack for fitment. Everything is PnP, with the exception of Servo. The person did mention under 40MPH, the wheel was super stiff to turn, but it loosens up after 40+.
I'll be doing the steering rack retrofit soon after I finish up with my 1M conversion
