Otherwise the car runs great! If I invoke the lemon law, I would just order a clone. I guess I would also have to repeat the two month wait.
I hope the BMW engineers find a magic bullet to fix this thing - otherwise, I'm being deprived of the use of a fun car (that gets 31 mpg) because of some half-ass California smog laws.

Order a clone, and drive the one you have with the light on for two months. When the new one comes in, give the old one back. That's what I'd do.
