For those of you who absolutely must have one of these, I have bought items from BMW Kirsch in Germany. They do Paypal, and have sales on occasion. The 1M is not available there yet, but you can be notified when it is. Kirsch is a great place to pick up items that won't be available in the US, like motorbike helmets, Yachsport accessories, and EU only parts for the cars.
