Hydraulic lifters have been around since the 1930s - I wouldn't worry too much about them.

That said, and as a consistent user of ACEA A3/B4 oils, quite frankly any oil sold today and somewhere close to the recommended viscosity is fine if your intervals are short enough. If you're following the factory-recommended extended intervals, then by all means pay close attention to the specs; if you're changing every 5k, pour in whatever you've got and drive.

If you want to know what's happening in there, laboratory oil analysis is the only way to go. You can probably find a VOA and some UOAs for the Liqui-Moly somewhere out there.
