Well I found that if you just place your finger lightly over each programmable button (do not push it), the NAV screen will tell you what is assigned to it and if it is eligible to be assigned to your currently set task.

Also, if you programmed an address as one of the programmable memory keys: if you keep your finger on the button for more than one second (without pushing the button), it will show the complete address (maximizing the information line), instead of showing the abbreviated address (shown during the first second).
