Issues appear over a period of time that develops through a few years of ownership. 28K is a short amount of time. Even for this car.
I've done my maintenance religiously and have had an avalanche of issues since new. I'm at 94K now (and since I've replaced nearly every moving part) I feel confident that the next two years will be oil changes only. JMHO...
