I can’t say how many hours I wasted looking through photos of “manual” 135i’s just to see that dumb automatic shifter in the console. The sellers here on 1addicts aren’t really guilty of this but online websites like autotrader and cars.com sure are. |
I share your pain. I spent a long time looking at pictures and wondering how people get a manual and auto mixed up.
1) Auto sales people aren't enthusiasts, or even product knowledgeable people. In most cases, you've got a back office guy filling out a form to cross post the vehicle to different sales webpages. GIGO.
2) There is no penalty to being listed incorrectly that I can see. I'm still looking at their vehicle. I may not buy it, but maybe I'm crazy and give up on the idea of a manual.
