This is true.

I would say that a good driver, basic tune and good tires on a 135i will keep up with a stock 5.0 Mustang at least to the quarter mile. It also depends on which gears the Mustang has. I believe stock is 3.31, but the track/brembo package has 3.73 gears which is a good bit snappy off the line. I think it's called the performance package now.
