Engine oil temperature

Hello!!

When do you consider the engine to be warm enough to stat pulling hard after a cold start??
I always wait until the oil tmp is close to 120ºC (almost vertical) to go beyond 2000-2300 rpm... Is that "too conservative" or is the right spot... I have seen that in normal driving the oil stays between 95 (the dot) and 120 but closer to 120, (I assume 110+-) so I consider that optimum tmp but some say it is too conservative and there is no need to wait that much (some times it takes up to 15-20 KM) and then I gradually rev up the engine...

Happy new year!!
