Can't speak for the 335 calipers, but I used 135i calipers on my 128i hoping they'd hold up with less speed and a lighter car. The actual performance is more than adequate, but my dust boots were cooked and the ceramic tops were breaking down after a season and change.
Rebuilt with the Racing Brake kit, which has held up well to two weekends so far.
