At around 8:54 in the video the OP passes what looks like an ambulance with lights on. Can the OP or someone with Nurburgring experience let me know what you're supposed to do in that situation? Okay to pass?
I get the basic rules and etiquette of the Nordschleife, but I wouldn't have been prepared for what to do in that situation. My instinct would have been to drop back and keep my distance -- at least until I saw what a few of the locals were doing. Then I would have followed their lead.
