Most large dealers are only receiving an allocation of two 1 series coupes of any engine per month.
I would double and treble check with the dealer / salesman - get them to check the availability on the BMW ordering system.
Most salesman will spout the usual 12 weeks without checking as this is the norm for any factory order.
My dealer is currently quoting 16 weeks+
