One thing I hate about my stock 128 clutch is the shudder. I've never experienced this much shudder with a clutch before. It's just like baked-on brake pad residue causing brake shimmy. The clutch pads don't have uniform grip-they grip and slip, grip and slip, causing the shudder.

The solution is easy enough, slip the clutch enough to get it hot and it will deposit uniform residue on the flywheel and stop the shudder. I've done this several times and it always works, but I shouldn't need to. That's the main reason I want to try the Valeo kit. All of BMWs pads seem very prone to deposits, both brake and clutch.
