I spoke with a Canadian supplier here in Toronto about purchasing a staggered set of the 710's for my 128i.
18x8.5 - 45 offset
18x9.5 - 50 offset
After being on the phone with him for 20 minuets he said that there are no 18x8.5 rims listed on his site or database that he was referring too.
He said that he could only find a 18 rim NOT the 18x8.5 that I was requesting.
He also said that he wouldn't even suggest putting a 225 on a 18x8.5 rim as the tire would be too stretched.
Heck, while I was taking to this guy I was looking at a previous post by VMR that showed the exact set-up I was looking for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He also said that is looked like there was no inventory showing for the rims I wanted in California and I would be placed on a waiting list until they are made available to him. - Is this true!!???
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
