Having the identical problem with my 2009 Z4(3.0)...
Mark, was a successful fix to this problem ever found before you traded your vehicle? I am having the exact same problem with my 2009 Z4 (3.0), and wondering if anyone has yet found a common fix. Just like these others, when the A/C is off, my problems go away.
