Girlfriend recently joined the BMW family. She picked up a 228i and took her for a drive with the older sister. Surprised how smooth the 228i is. I expected worse. Crazy that stock @ 4 cyl it’s as fast if not faster than my tuned 128i.
But I’ll always have a soft spot for the 1 series. And if you have a 128i and haven't done the 3 stage intake + tune I highly recommend it.
Thinking about swapping the black rims for VMR 710s in hyper silver? I feel like the car could use some contrast. Or stay black? GF says black but I’m thinking with the mods done I wouldn’t mind something more of a stock look with it. Returning back to silver and placing the BMW caps I feel would bring it back all together.
