It's the recirculate air steering wheel button. Press it a few times and it should stop doing it. When you go over bumps or pot holes it triggers the button, which turns the ac on. I think it happens because people never press that button, and with time it starts acting weird. If you press hard on it a few times, it should fix it(at least it did for me).
