I have found that demon tweeks here in the UK can supply the recaro sportster cs which is the exact same seat as the bmw performanceoption in cloth or half leather half alacantara or even full leather £832.50 plus 20% vat. you will be missing the bmw performance stitching in the headrest area obviously. You can add on the side airbags and the heated seat part as well. I am pretty sure they will flip to allow tear access I paired with the correct mounting rail for our 1m's.
One problem though is that they don't list the mounting rail for our e82s at all, they list it for the e90 but in brackets (non-M3) so any ideas guys as to sourcing the correct rail to mount the recaro seat to our 1Ms ? I am pretty sure that some other companies U.S. based are marketing this seat with the rail ready to go for your 1m but the uk price I have found is pretty damn good as i dont have to add shipping costs and import duty
