Speaking as a Red Bull / Daniel Ricciardo fan I would agree that it is not 100% either way with the accident. Max did move twice and Daniel came in far too hot… So they are both at fault.

What I would point out though is that there are parallels between Verstappen and Senna. It is often said that Senna made his opponents make the decision about whether to risk an accident when going for an overtake and that is what Verstappen seems to do. I like Verstappen’s aggression, take Bottas as a counter example – he is far too submissive in his driving and, as a result, is unlikely to be a world champion.

Max is clearly going through a learning process, he needs to sort out his finer judgement calls, modify his aggression a little bit, and then I think he will be unbeatable.
