Ok, another weird one here:

About 9 months ago, my speedometer on the cluster of my 09' 135i started acting up. Basically, 'zero' is now anywhere between 160kph and 250kph depending on the day (changes every time I start the car), and as I drive, the needle goes up as expected until it literally hits and ticks against my fuel gauge.

Never been in an accident or anything that would contribute to a strange issue like this.

Has anyone seen this before, and if so, is there anything I can do to fix this?

Also, I am in Toronto so if the conclusion is that there is nothing I can do, then any suggestions on where to get it fixed would be much appreciated.
