It's not much fun, getting the stock bar out is really easy because it's so flexible. A 15mm bar might not be too hard to put in but my M3 rear took a lot of creativity to snake it through and out the other side.

I loosened all bolts, removed the big cup washers for the bolts to get the subframe down a little further. If I did it again I'd disconnect the brake lines for as much extra space as I could get. Definitely disconnect the wishbones and I ended up unbolting the guide rods too.

I did a fair amount of "rocking" the subframe as I fed the bar through. My car has the stainless fuel filler pipe, that made the passenger side a bigger pain to deal with, but I went from driver to passenger side to get it in.
